Post estimates the production of green bean coffee in MY 2016/2017 at 26.7 million bags (Green Bean Equivalent) and forecast for MY 2017/2018 at 29.9 million bags. For export, Post estimates Vietnam exports at about 25 million bags of green coffee beans in MY 2016/17, due to limited production. The MY 2017/18 green bean export is forecast at 25.5 million bags, due to a good local harvest.
