United Arab Emirates: Dubai Cuts Import Custom Duties by 20 Percent for the Next Three Months

For the next three months, custom duties for imports into Dubai will be reduced by 20 percent for all imported goods sold on the local UAE market. This will bring the customs tariff rate to 4 percent instead of 5 percent on food commodities. The decision is part of the stimulus package developed by the Government of Dubai to help commercial businesses overcome the impact of Covid-19 and keep the flow of imports.
