Ukraine: Grain and Feed Update

  |   Attaché Report (GAIN)

The Ministry of Agriculture reports that Ukraine has completed harvest of all grain crops for MY2017/18. Preliminary production numbers indicate that Ukraine will remain an active exporter in the Black Sea region for wheat, barley and corn, although export volumes will be lower compared to MY2016/17. Rye remains a marginal crop mainly utilized for domestic consumption, but in MY2017/18, Ukraine will likely see substantially higher export volumes supported by growth in production.
