Citrus production in Australia has experienced favorable conditions after above average rainfalls in all of the major growing areas across 2020 and 2021.

Ethanol consumption in Australia is forecast to decline in 2021 at only 1.1-percent of the gasoline pool, and biodiesel use similarly is forecast to decline from already very low levels at only 0.1-percent of the total diesel pool.

This year's report does not contain significant changes from last year's report. Chile continues allowing the reproduction of seeds under strict control of the Agricultural and Livestock Service of the Ministry of Agriculture.
