The COVID-19 pandemic had a very negative impact on the Turkish consumer food service industry in 2020, with a strong decline in sales and widespread outlet closures seen throughout the industry.
Turkey's Marketing Year (MY) 2021/22 wheat production estimate is lowered slightly to 16.25 million metric tons (MMT), while barley production is further lowered to 4.5 MMT.
