On December 11, 2020, Canada published the first update of the Canadian Organic Standards since 2015, updating a range of livestock measures and permitted substances lists among other changes.
During 2020, U.S. total agricultural exports to the Dominican Republic increased by 6 percent, from US$1.26 billion in 2019 to $1.33 billion, reaching an all time high.
Canadian nutrition labeling changes published in 2016 will officially enter into force on December 14, 2021.
