Poland: Polish ASF Cases Spike in Summer 2020

From January 1, 2020, through August 28, Poland has detected 71 African swine fever (ASF) cases among domestic hogs and 3,078 cases in wild boars.
Initially banned in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, South Africa announced that the sale and distribution of alcohol would be reauthorized from August 17, 2020.
While the impact of COVID-19 has been minimal to production and has been good in driving domestic demand in South Africa, exports have suffered.
