Since its 2004 European Union (EU) accession, Lithuania has consistently changed its regulations to harmonize its national laws with EU food and agricultural regulations and standards.
Updated import duties of Euro 5.16 per metric ton are applied on corn, sorghum and rye from August 8, 2017.
The EU28 grain harvest is now under way in most Member States.
