New Zealand: Dairy and Products Semi-annual

Dairy Farmers are now in the second year of below breakeven farmgate milk prices and have cut the national dairy cow herd number over the last eighteen months by five percent to 4.9 million head.
With increased processing capacity and better weather conditions expected to prevail, sugar production is forecast to climb to 370,000 metric tons in MY16/17 (May-Apr).

New Zealand: Fresh Deciduous Fruit Semi-annual

New Zealand deciduous fruit exports at 351,000 metric tons for MY2015/2016 are three percent greater than the previous forecast, because of an almost perfect growing season in the main growing region.
After a small decline in MY15/16 (Aug-Jul) because of the drought, cotton production is forecast to more than recover, reaching 207,000 bales (45,000 metric tons) in MY16/17.
