Argentina continues to be the third largest producer of biotech crops after the United States and Brazil, producing 14 percent of the world´s total biotech crops.
In recent years, India’s exports have demonstrated phenomenal growth – especially to developing countries, which now account for nearly 80 percent of Indian exports.
Post forecasts Brazil’s Marketing Year (MY) 2014/15 cotton area to drop by about 11 percent to one million hectares, compared to the previous MY.
Argentine beef exports in 2015 are forecast at 210,000 tons carcass wt equivalent, an increase from the 2014 estimate, but still an insignificant volume for what Argentina has historically exported.
