Taiwan has competed 100 percent of its 2019 U.S. Rice country specific quota (CSQ) of 64,634 metric tons (MT).
On March 13, 2019, Taiwan completed Simultaneous-Buy and Sell (SBS) tenders for 18,500 tons of U.S.-origin rice at $108 per ton.
On January 4, Taiwan awarded 3,000 tons of medium/short grain rice to a U.S. bidder under Tender GF4-107-662.
On October 9, Taiwan completed a Simultaneous-Buy and Sell (SBS) tender for 3,000 tons of U.Sorigin rice at $162 per ton for delivery by April 30, 2019.
On September 27, 2018, Taiwan completed a normal rice tender for 6,000 tons of U.S-origin milled medium/short grain rice at $717.65 per ton for delivery in 2019.
On April 10, Taiwan completed a Simultaneous-Buy and Sell (SBS) tender for 18,500 tons of U.S. origin rice.
