Japan: Japan’s Draft 2020 Olympic Sourcing Code Out

The Tokyo Organizing Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games Sustainable Sourcing Working Group has informed the public that it has developed draft sourcing code for the 2020 Summer Olympics. The Sourcing Code, in part, defines individual codes for agricultural, livestock and fishery products that take sustainability into account. The Working Group has invited public comment on its proposed Sourcing Code until December 27, 2016. If commenting, please also provide a copy of your submission to agtokyo@fas.usda.gov
