India: FSSAI Notifies Sixteenth Amendment of Food Additives Regulations

India’s Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) notified amended Food Safety and Standards (food Products Standards and Food Additives) Regulations, 2011. These regulations will be known as Food Safety and Standards (Food Products Standards and Food Additives) Sixteenth Amendment Regulations, 2017. FBOs have been advised to comply with all the provisions of these regulations by July 1, 2018.
