China: China Announces Reductions in Certain Additional Tariffs

On February 6, 2020, the State Council Tariff Commission announced that China would cut in half the additional tariffs for certain commodities from the United States on February 14, 2020. These additional tariffs refer to those imposed on U.S. commodities on September 1, 2019. Other additional retaliatory tariffs remain in force. This report contains an unofficial translation of the SCTC announcement and up-to-date lists of additional tariffs that apply to agriculture, forestry, and fishery products from the United States.
