With the highest per capita GDP in Latin America, Chile is a growing export market for U.S. food suppliers, and a strong trading partner. The country's high-income consumers have a preference for imported products. Chile is the second top market for U.S. agricultural and related exports in Latin America, after Colombia. Best prospects for 2024 are: dairy products, pork, beef, and poultry products, condiments and sauces, beer and distilled spirits, and confectionery products.
