Brazil: Success Story FAS Helps U.S. Dairy Shipment to be Released at Brazilian Port

In May 2015, the U.S. Dairy Export Council requested assistance from FAS Brasilia to intervene on the release of a U.S. commercial shipment of U.S. dairy ingredient: whey protein concentrate. The shipment was stuck at port due to a problem with the U.S. health certificate. After discussions with MAPA, the exporter, and USDA/Washington, the shipment was released.
